I have seen the benefits of mindfulness through a long-standing personal practice and through my participants’ feedback of courses in MBCT, MBSR and MBCT-Ca.
During my medical degree (BMBS) at the University of Nottingham, I did a special study module in MBCT with Prof. Mark Williams and his team at Oxford University. The evidence-based, compassionate context and insights for participants further inspired me to train at Bangor University where I gained a distinction at Masters level (MSc) in teaching Mindfulness-based Approaches.
I have had a varied career background, having worked for corporates and start-ups in technology and management, within the NHS as a doctor, and with charities as a mindfulness and meditation instructor. I also hold a Masters in Engineering Science (MEng) from the University of Oxford and my interests – alongside and within mindfulness – include well-being within the workplace and living more wisely.
