Born and raised in France, I have been living in London for the past 19 years. I moved to the UK in 2005 to do an MA at King’s College London and never left! I have been working in the financial sector as a compliance officer since 2007.
I discovered mindfulness by chance when I started using Headspace and going to the London Buddhist Centre for yoga and meditation. During the first lockdown in March 2020, I finally took the plunge and attended an online 8-week MBSR course as a participant which I found helpful to manage stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions. I have been meditating regularly ever since. Learning mindfulness has taught me the importance of looking after my mind and has opened my eyes to the deep connection between mind, body, and feelings & emotions.
In 2022 I trained with the Sussex Mindfulness Centre and completed their one-year foundation training programme in Mindfulness-Based Approaches, and I am now registered with BAMBA to teach MBCT to the general public. I am currently completing a yoga teacher training course and hope to graduate (fingers crossed!) in February 2024. I am looking forward to teaching mindfulness and yoga.
I am still at the beginning of my teaching journey, and I am very excited to volunteer with the Mindfulness Network Community Friends (MNCF). It is an amazing experience to be part of this vibrant community of mindfulness practitioners and to meet other mindfulness teachers from the UK and abroad.
Among my other interests are jogging, enjoying good food and wine, travelling, walking in nature, and spending quality time with my partner and my friends.
