Course Information

Mindfulness-Based Supervision and Mentoring Training: Foundational

When: 9 Sep 2026 - 11 Sep 2026
Where: Online Event
Tutors: Alison Evans, Pamela Duckerin

This three-day online training course will be taught experientially. We will develop understanding, confidence and skills in mindfulness-based supervision and mentoring through a process of mindful exploration and inquiry.

We will explore together the underlying foundations of a mindfulness-based approach to supervision/mentoring, introducing a unique Mindfulness-Based Supervision (MBS) Framework, developed by Alison and Pamela. The framework features a relational embodied process at the centre. During the training, we will explore the framework through dialogue in small and large groups, short periods of teaching from the trainers, opportunities for practising supervision in pairs and small groups, space for personal reflection and short practices to take forward into your work. The intention is to create an open, spacious learning environment that encourages and supports spontaneity and creativity.

This training is the first step on the MBS training pathway and can also be a stand-alone training.

  • wish to engage in live online training with other teachers in a supportive community
  • wish to explore supervising/mentoring through an inquiry-based approach
