I have been teaching the eight-week course in Sussex since 2005 to the general public, carers, NHS staff, older people and teachers. Part of my work involves teaching carers, who are usually looking after other family members, e.g., spouses, parents, adult children with mental health or substance abuse problems.

I hold a British Wheel of Yoga teaching diploma and have practised aikido for many years. Since 2011, I have been a member of the core Bangor University Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP) Training team and also part of the team offering a one-year teacher training through Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Since 2015, with Estrella Fernandez, I have led the creation of a CMRP teacher training pathway in MBCT in Spain.
