Taravajra has been teaching the 8 week course in Sussex since 2005, to the general public, Carers, NHS staff, older people and school teachers.
He gained a British Wheel of yoga teaching diploma in 2002 and practised aikido for many years. Mindful movement remains a keen interest.
Since 2011, he has been a member of the core Bangor University CMRP Training team and also a main trainer offering a one year teacher training through Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Since 2015, with Estrella Fernandez, Taravajra has been helping to create a BU/MN teacher training pathway (TTP) in MBCT in Spain/Latin America. In 2019, alongside Vanessa Hope he began another TTP collaboration with Anna Dóra Frostadóttir from the mindfulness centre in Reykjavik , Iceland.
Taravajra has played an important role in the wider UK field, being the convenor of the UK Network (now renamed BAMBA) in 2016 and also setting up with Sharon Hadley the UK Listing (now the Register). He has also been the UK based member of the International Integrity Network.

Personal Practice
I have been practising meditation within the Tri Ratna community since 1981 and have attended regular retreats in the UK and abroad.
Since 2011, I have been leading retreats for mindfulness teachers.
