Evolving in Mindfulness: Consolidating and embodying your training (Note: formerly named TTO2 / Going Deeper)

When: 13 Jan 2025 - 2 Feb 2025
Where: Online Event
Tutors: Karunavira , Taravajra

This 6 day practice-based training is designed to strengthen your competencies in communicating mindfulness practices in both personal and professional settings.

This immersive training, delivered online, will further develop confidence in everyday mindful living and mindfulness-based teaching through a broader and deeper understanding of mindfulness and the ever-changing wider issues that impact the way we meet the world.

*Please note: this is currently referred to as the Going Deeper course in the Teacher Training Pathway documents - the name has been changed to avoid confusion with other similarly named courses but the content is the same.

We will be updating all our documents/website shortly.*

The training has two overarching aims:

1/ broadening skills and understanding beyond any previous Specialist Training by further exploring key themes within mindfulness and ways of effectively relating these to others.

2/ deepening skills and understanding by i/ a principle-led training framed on the 6 MBI-TAC Domains (rather than being limited to any particular 8-week curriculum); and ii/ offering masterclass style mentoring for guiding the main formal mindfulness practices (Body Scan, Movement and Sitting) and the inquiry process linked to these iii) exploring and enhancing understanding of some of the main teaching themes as relevant to the particular teaching specialism you have chosen.

This is an essential step in completing our comprehensive modular training programme, delivered by the Mindfulness Network, in collaboration with Bangor University.
