Donation event: Meeting difficult emotions with self-compassion with Caroline Hoffman
When: 23 Oct 2025
Where: Online Event
Tutor: Caroline Hoffman
About the event:
Experiencing difficult emotions is one of life’s biggest challenges. We all have them, even though we often feel like we are alone when it happens.
In this session we will learn how mindfulness and self-compassion can support us in this territory so that we start to release the grip of emotions such as loneliness, fear, sadness, frustration and particularly shame, and change their impact on our lives.
The evening will include a talk on this subject, an opportunity to try out some short practices, and time for questions and discussion. We will include the approaches of both tender and fierce self-compassion.
The Mindfulness Network will also offer a weekend retreat on this theme in March 2026 with Caroline Hoffman and Zoe Shobbrook-Fisher. Book here
