Donation Event: 10 years of the Mindfulness Network - Celebrating 5 Years as a Charity

When: 24 May 2023
Where: Online Event
Tutors: Rebecca Crane, Alison Evans, Ken Lunn

About the event:

Join Executive Director of the Mindfulness Network, Ken Lunn, as he shares his memories around the creation of the organisation as a charity and its subsequent development over the past five years. He will be joined in conversation with Rebecca Crane and Alison Evans - who were both instrumental in this phase of the Network's evolution and the training collaboration with Bangor University's Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP).

This celebration marks five years since we became a charity in 2018 and is the second part of the story of the Mindfulness Network which was founded in 2012. A recording of the first part of our story - the First 5 Years - with co-founders Alison Evans and Willem Kuyken, can be freely viewed on our Community site.

This event is offered in collaboration with the Mindfulness Network Community Friends (MNCF) - an initiative to engage the wider mindfulness community and reach new audiences. Led by a Committee of Volunteers, supported by the Mindfulness Network, we work together to run a program of donation-based events and inspiring content. You are welcome to visit the Community Friends area of our Community site, which is open to all, for more opportunities to practice and learn together: https://community.mindfulness-network.org/course/view.php?id=72
